This Privacy Policy explains what information Sokai Sciences LLC ("Sokai Sciences," "we," "us") collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and shipping address when you place an order; any information you send us by email.
Information collected automatically: a session identifier stored in a cookie, used only to remember your shopping cart between page loads. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising.
Payment information: when payment processing is active on this site, your payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers or bank account credentials on our own servers.
Analytics
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate site traffic, such as which pages are visited and how many visitors we get. This analytics does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect or store your name, email address, or other information that identifies you personally. Because it doesn't rely on a cookie or other persistent identifier, there's no cookie-consent banner or opt-out for it — there's nothing stored on your device to opt out of.
How We Use Your Information

- We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your phone number may still be used for non-marketing, transactional purposes regardless of this opt-in — for example, a shipping carrier contacting you about delivery of an order — since that use isn't marketing and doesn't require this consent.
Age & Research-Use Requirement
Our products are sold for laboratory research use only. To place an order you must certify that you are 21 years of age or older and are acquiring products solely for research purposes, as described in our Terms of Use. We retain the timestamp of that certification with your order record.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
- Our payment processor, to process payment (once connected).
- Service providers who help us operate this site (e.g., hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law.
Data Retention
We retain order records for as long as needed for accounting, compliance, and legal purposes. You can request deletion of information we're not otherwise required to keep — see "Your Rights" below.
